Come celebrate the rich history of arts and humanities in the Palmer Lake region at this year's Palmer Lake Chautauqua with a special screening of MIRASOL, Looking at the Sun, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Ben Knight, produced and presented by Palmer Land Conservancy. This event is being hosted by our friends at the Palmer Lake Arts Council.

In this poignant new film, award-winning filmmaker Ben Knight challenges us to think about land and water use in the West through an intimate portrait of a rural farming community in Pueblo, Colorado, as they fight to protect their water and land, and in turn, their culture and livelihood.

Arrive early to discover the impactful strides in conservation Palmer has made in partnership with the Colorado community and learn about Palmer's innovative initiatives to ensure that the Colorado you love today is here forever. The event will conclude with a Q&A session featuring the film's Field Producer, offering an opportunity for thoughtful discussion.

Space is limited. Registration is kindly requested. Walk-in seating will be welcome pending availability.
